American Journal of Irish Studies

The American Journal of Irish Studies (AJIS) is intended to be a forum for discussion on Irish and Irish-American literature, history, arts and culture, and contemporary issues.

Formerly entitled Radharc: A Journal of Irish and Irish-American StudiesThe American Journal of Irish Studies was launched in March of 2012 and, like Radharc, it features articles drawn from the public events series at Glucksman Ireland House NYU, including our annual named lectures, the Ernie O’Malley Lecture (on an Irish-American subject), the Irish Institute of New York Lecture (on an Irish subject), and the Barra Ó Donnabháin Lecture (on the Irish language), as well as from special events.
