6 February       Susan McKeown, Cathie Ryan and Deirdre Danaher present “Songs and Stories of Brigid.”

13 February     Chris Finan presents a lecture on “Al Smith and the Rise of Irish America,” to coincide with the launch of his new book, Aldred E Smith: The Happy Warrior.

20 February     Marina Carr reads from her recent work.

25 February     Pete Hamill reads from his new novel, Forever.

27 February     Tommy Sands is joined by Mick Moloney for a preview of their Town Hall concert.

6 March           Billy Collins, United States Poet Laureate, reads from his works, which include Taking Off Emily Dickinson’s Clothes, Sailing Along Around the Room and Nine Horses.

8 March           Film screening: Aqua, written by Nina FitzPatrick, with introduction by Lucy McDiarmuid and commentary by Nuala Ní Dhomhnail.

11 March         Tom MacIntyre reads from his latest play, The Gallant JohnJoe.

13 March         Una Lynch-Heaton opens an exhibition of her paintings, with an introduction by Frank McCourt.

19 March         Fionnuala Hunt introduces her plans for the inaugural Belfast International Violin Competition in 2005 and presents a short musical performance.

25 March         Nuala O’Faolain reads from her new book, Almost There.

27 March         Professor Kerby Miller launches Irish Immigrants in the Land ofCanaan: Letters and Memoirs from Colonial and RevolutionaryAmerica, 1675--1815, co-written with Arnold Schrier, Bruce Boling and David Doyle.

3 April             Conor O’Clery presents “Reporting fromAmerica, the Challenges of Reporting America toIreland.”

10 April           Robert Loeber and Magda Stouthamer-Loeber present their research in an illustrated talk entitled “What Did the Irish Read? Fiction in the 19th century.”

12 April           A Taste of the Yeats International Summer School.  An all-day program including Jonathan Allison, Mick Moloney and John Waters.

17 April           Professor Jay Dolan talks on “Roman Catholicism and American Democracy--Religion and Culture in Tension.”

24 April           Gerry Dawe reads from his new collection of poetry,Lake Geneva.

1 May              Aireneál na Bealtaine: an evening of traditional Irish music, song, poetry and dance with Pádraig Ó Cearúill to celebrate the coming of summer.

29 May            Joseph O’Connor reads from his new novel, Star of the Sea.
