1 February       Susan McKeown, Cathie Ryan, and Deirdre Danaher present “Songs and Stories of Brigid: A Celebration of Brigid and Her Legacy in Irish Folklore and Song.”

8 February       Professor Richard Kearney presents “Ireland andBritain: Siamese Twins.”

15 February     Mick Moloney presents from his recent work, Far from theShamrockShore: Irish American History through Song.

17 February     The opening of “The Spin onIreland: Irish Music Record Cover Art since 1960,” an exhibition of the recent history of Irish-American record covers.

22 February     Michael Gibbons presents an illustrated archaeological lecture, “SacredMountains, Pagan Gods, and the Pilgrimage Tradition inIreland.”

1 March           Oíche Airneál: an evening of traditional Irish music, song, poetry and dance with Pádraig Ó Cearúill.

2-4 March        GRIAN, the Graduate Irish Studies Association of New York, holds their third annual interdisciplinary conference, “Traditions andIreland: Revision, Performance, Representation.”

22 March         Professor John P. Waters lectures on “The Irish Enlightenment: Literature and Politics in Eighteenth Century Ireland.”

29 March         Nuala O’Faolain, reads from her debut novel, My Dream of You.

6 April             Desi Wilkinson lectures on “Breton Connections: Traditional Music in Brittany and Its Irish Influences.”

12 April           John Montague reads from his latest collection, Smashing the Piano.

19 April           Professor Linda Almeida launches her new book, Irish Immigrants inNew York City, 1945--1995.

25 April           Aireneál na Bealtaine, an evening of traditional Irish music, song, poetry and dance with Pádraig Ó Cearúill to celebrate the coming of summer.

26 April           Maureen Waters reads from her new book, Crossing Highbridge: A Memoir of Irish America.
