The Blarney Star Concert Series: Pat O'Connor and Eoghan O'Sullivan

Friday, April 5, 2013, 8:00 p.m.

at Glucksman Ireland House NYU

Fiddler Pat O'Connor, from Ennis, County Clare, and button accordionist Eoghan O'Sullivan of Mitchelstown, County Cork, teamed up a few years ago to form what has become a very popular hard-core traditional music duo.

Pat's unhurried, lightly ornamented fiddling harks back to to the rural roots of Irish dance music while Eoghan adds a punchy rhythmic thrust with his classic "press-and-draw" style on the two-row button box, a sound familiar to fans of his earlier work with the "Smoky Chimney" trio.

Free admission to Members of Glucksman Ireland House and to all students/faculty with a valid NYU I.D. card. For non-members: $15 donation at the door for the Blarney Star Concert Series.

Tickets at the door only; the Blarney Star Concert Series does not accept reservations.
