Dublin-based poet Nell Regan’s debut volume, Preparing for Spring, was shortlisted for Ireland’s Glen Dimplex New Writing Awards, Strong Awards, and Patrick Kavanagh Awards, and excerpts were read at the White House. She spent Fall 2011 as Fulbright scholar at the International Writing Program at Iowa University and at Berkeley.
