12 September  “A Prayer for My Daughter,” a photographic exhibition honoring the accomplishments of Irish and Irish-American women.

15 September  Jack Holland, author and a contributing editor at The Irish Echo, talks about his new work, Hope Against History: The Course of Conflict in Northern Ireland.

23 September  Dr. Christine Finn gives an illustrated talk on “Marbles, Mosaics and the Muse from the Bog: Archaeology and Irish Poetry.”

7 October        Medbh McGuckian and Eiléan Ní Chuillenáin read from The Wake Forest Book of Irish Women’s Poetry, 1967--2000.

21 October      Ciaran Carson reads new poems and also selections from Fishing for Amber, his latest book of prose.

28 October      Airneál na Samhna: an evening of traditional music, song, poetry and dance with Pádraig Ó Cearúill.

4 November    Professor Irene Whelan speaks on “The Legacy of Letterfrack.”

9 November    Frank McCourt reads from ‘Tis: A Memoir.

18 November  Nuala O’Faolain reads from fiction in progress.

2 December     The Inaugural lecture in the Ernie O’Malley Lecture Series.  Professor J. J. Lee presents “Locating Irish America at the Millennium: From Somewhere to Nowhere--or Everywhere?” with respondents Kerby Miller and Peter Quinn.

9 December     An evening of carols, conversation and warm holiday cheer.
