11 September  Joan Farber opens an exhibition of watercolors made during her stay in the Böll cottage, Achill, County Mayo.

18 September  Bruce Arnold presents a talk on Irish Art History entitled “Ireland: A Forty-Year Perspective.”

25 September  Taioseach Dr. Garret FitzGerald presents his reflections on “State and Church inIreland.”

2 October        Ruán O’Donnell launches his new two-volume biography of Robert Emmet, Robert Emmet and the 1798 Rebellion and Robert Emmet and the Rising of 1803.

7-12 October   “West Along the Road”-a gala concert, academic conference and recital series celebrating New York as the crossroads ofIreland andAmerica, in honor of the tenth anniversary of Glucksman Ireland House.

23 October      Aireneál na Samhna: an evening of traditional Irish music, song, poetry and dance with Pádraig Ó Cearúill to celebrate the advent of the Celtic New Year.

30 October      Professor Timothy J. Meagher presents the fifth annual Ernie O’Malley Series Lecture, “The Fireman on the Stairs: Communal Loyalties in the Making of Irish America.”

6 November    Bill Rolston presents an illustrated lecture on political wall murals inNorthern Ireland.

13 November   Alice McDermott reads from her new work, Child of my Heart.

20 November   Mary Higgins Clark reads from and discusses her memoir, Kitchen Privileges.

4 December     An Evening of carols, conversation and warm holiday cheer.

11 December   Roy Foster launches the final volume of the official biography of Yeats, W. B. Yeats, a Life, II: The Arch Poet, 1915-1939.
