6 September    A. J. Hughes discusses “Languages as Cultural Collateral: the Irish Language Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”

12 September  Tom Paulin reads from his latest work, and from that of fellow poets from the North of Ireland.

19 September  Professor James Donnelly presents a lecture entitled “The Great Famine in Recent Historical Writing,” based on his recent book, The Great Irish Potato Famine

26 September  Kitty Sullivan presents “A Celebration of Ireland--An Evening of Harp, Verse, Song and Storytelling”.

4 October        Mary O’Malley reads from her latest poetry collection, Asylum Road, accompanied by traditional musician Mick Moloney.

11 October      Gearóid Ó Tuathaigh discusses “The Long Relationship: Irish--British Relations in a Historical Context.”

19 September  Film screening: the third annual evening of new documentaries fromNorthern Ireland.

20 September  Celtic film symposium.  A day of films, filmmakers, writers and scholars celebrating Celtic identities.

22 September  The Belfast Wind Quintet introduces the cross-community educational project, “The Children of Lir.”

25 September  Joseph O’Neill Reads from his Blood-Dark Track: A Family History.

31 October      Aireneál na Samhna: an evening of traditional Irish music, song, poetry and dance with Pádraig Ó Cearúill to celebrate the Celtic New Year.

3 November    Irish Language Symposium.  “Éisge Nua Eabhrac--An Teanga Bheo,” a one day symposium to explore contemporary state of Irish language.

8 November    Micheline Sheehy Skeffington presents an illustrated talk, “The American Tour of Hanna Sheehy Skeffington, 1917--1918.”

13 November  Vincent Dowling launches his autobiography, Astride the Moon: A Theatrical Life.

15 November  Professor Tom Devine presents the third annual Ernie O’Malley Lecture, “Ireland andScotland: Intimate Strangers” with respondent, Professor Kerby Miller.

29 November  John Burkhalter and Eugene Roan present “A Capital Concert of Musick as Can Be Heard inDublin.”  An illustrated lecture and performance of musical pieces popular in the 18th centuryDublin society.

5 December     Airneál na Samhna: an evening of traditional Irish music, carols and seasonal cheer with Pádraig Ó Cearúill.

6 December     Nollaig Shona: an evening of carols, conversation and warm holiday cheer.
