The Irish Language in the United States: A Historical, Sociolinguistic, and Applied Linguistic Survey.
Thomas Ihde is the director of the CUNY Institute for Irish-American Studies and is an Associate Professor at Lehman College. He received his Ph.D. from Trinity College, Dublin and is the editor of The Irish Language in the United States: A Historical, Sociolinguistic, and Applied Linguistic Survey (Bergin & Garvey, 1994).
